This Is Not A Photobooth #1

This Is Not A Photobooth. It's all sheet film. It’s slow. It’s involved. You can’t see yourself in a screen to make any adjustments. You’ll have to hold still. One photograph could take five minutes. Did I mention it’s slow? You won’t get a print out right away. You won’t get a text with a link to download an Instagram ready image.

You won’t even get exactly the photograph you thought you’d get, because the man behind the camera has opinions, and even I only know what I thought I shot, and I won’t know for certain until after the photograph has been developed.

Did I mention it’s slow? It’s expensive, too. Someone has to pay for all that film. And then getting it developed. And then getting it scanned. It costs a lot of money, yet somehow, no one is really getting paid.

'So, why should I hire you?' I hear you ask. Because you'll get me. That, and the off chance that together, we'll make something that outlasts us all.
